About us

Nordic Textile stands as the vital link bridging Bangladesh and Norway. Our primary objective is to connect customers and brands directly with manufacturers in Bangladesh, offering a transparent and ethical approach to apparel manufacturing & sourcing. We strive to revolutionize the industry by providing unprecedented access and breaking barriers. Our mission is to empower our customers with unparalleled opportunities, granting them direct engagement with manufacturers like never before.

We follow a stringent pre-qualification process both in our own factories and also within our network of partnered factories. Transparency is a key part of this process and we try to meet ESG commitments wherever possible. However, we also recognize this is a journey where many stakeholders are involved and strive to work with all parties to achieve the highest level of compliance. As part of this process, we review their social welfare policies, sustainability processes where appropriate and follow overall good governance and transparency in their reporting.

Our factory partners are also qualified with industry standard certifications such as Standard 100, OEKO-TEX, Accord, WCA, SQP, ICS, WRAP and so forth.

In essence, Nordic Textile aim to humanize the correlation between manufacturers and customers, enhancing collaboration and mutual understanding.

Our Mission

Empowering customers with unparalleled opportunities, granting them direct engagement with manufacturers like never before. As the industry undergoes disruptive transformation driven by new regulations and policies on ESG reporting and traceability, we are here to foster sustainability, ethics, and a more harmonious balance between profitability, social welfare and environmental impact.

Our Vision

To be the catalyst for positive change in the apparel industry, driving a future where sustainable and ethical practices are the norm. Through innovation, collaboration, transparency and a relentless pursuit of excellence, we aim to reshape the way fashion is sourced, manufactured, and consumed, creating a more conscious and responsible apparel ecosystem.

Sustainability

Transparency is our core mantra and only with this approach can we be committed to contributing to the development of a better society and encouraging responsible consumption.

The upcoming EU proposal on Sustainable Product Regulation including the ‘EU Digital Product Passport and the rising awareness of customers and end-consumers are contributing to the need for verified and detailed data from the complete supply chain.

As part of this, we have launched a digital product passport platform in collaboration with UNISOT to promote traceability and transparency. Moreover, we are committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and have selected the following SDGs :

SDG 9

Decent Work & Economic Growth

SDG 12

Responsible Consumption & Production

SDG 13

Climate Action

SDG 17

Partnerships for the Goals
